SUPERHERO TOY DRIVE

Please read below for important Wish List updates for the Snetiker Toy Drive!
The Snetikers toy drive wish list is now live! Toys will be collected at school from June 2nd to June 20th, and all donations will go to Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital at Columbia University, where Zachary was initially diagnosed and treated.
Our goal is to collect as many of the toys at school as possible so that Matthew, along with all third graders, can meaningfully participate in gathering and preparing the toys for the Snetikers to bring to the Children’s Hospital at the end of the drive. Students who bring in a toy will receive a water bottle sticker indicating that they, too, are a Greenacres Superhero. Superhero toys are encouraged as they were Zachary’s favorite, but any new toys from the Amazon Wishlist are welcome!
The Wishlist is available now by clicking here.
Important Information:
- At checkout, please choose your own home address for delivery.
- Please bring your toy donation to school out of its delivery box (no gift wrap or gift bags, please) between June 2nd and June 20th.
- Upon arriving at school, students should bring their donations to individual classrooms.
- If you are unable to receive the delivery at your home address, you can choose the Hospital shipping address option at checkout.
The Toy Drive will be launched with a Superhero Dress-Up Day for the entire school. Staff and students are encouraged to wear their favorite superhero attire on Monday, June 2nd. We ask that students refrain from wearing masks or bringing accessories to school.
The Snetiker family and the Greenacres faculty, staff and PTA are grateful for your thoughtful participation in this meaningful cause. Please reach out to Dr. Agentina Smajlaj with any questions.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Our parent volunteers are the driving force of our PTA, helping to make new families feel welcomed, support students with many enrichment opportunities, and build community at Greenacres. Some programs we run include after-school clubs, multicultural and STEAM events, community service projects, and parent get-togethers. Without your help, none of this would be possible.
Please consider volunteering for the 2025-2026 school year by filling out our volunteer form HERE. You can find a description of all of the PTA committees on our website. We are seeking chairs or liaisons to help lead some key committees:
- Book Fair co-chair
