The 2026 Scholastic Book Fair

 

What is the Book Fair?
For those new to Greenacres, our Book Fair brings bestselling books and newsletters right into the school. The Fair runs for three days each year, starting with an author visit on Election Day. During school hours, each class visits the Fair, and students may purchase books. Parents are welcome to join their children and volunteer during these visits.

Why the Book Fair Matters
The Book Fair is a key PTA fundraiser. Proceeds help fund classroom materials, library books, and Scholastic newsletters. The more books purchased, the more support our school receives!

 

How You Can Participate

  1. Volunteer
    Help during class visit days or become a Book Fair Chair for next year! Sign-ups will be sent out once class visit times are finalized.

  2. Buy Books
    Visit the Fair on Tuesday, Nov. 4 to meet our guest author and support the school. 

  3. Make a Teacher Pledge
    Make a donation to help teachers purchase additional books for their classrooms. A typical book costs $7. Donation form closes Sunday, Nov. 2 at 9:00 PM. To donate, please click HERE.

Payment Options

  • Cash, card, or eWallet: Tuesday, Nov. 4

  • Cash or Scholastic eWallet: During class visits on Nov. 5 & 6

Scholastic eWallet

  • You may load funds into your child's eWallet to avoid sending cash HERE.

  • Must be created by Sunday, Nov. 2 at 5:00 PM.

  • Create one per child; siblings cannot share accounts.

  • Remaining balances are non-refundable but may be used at the digital book fair or next year.
