Celebration Books Program

The Greenacres PTA is proud to partner with the Greenacres School Library and Bronx River Books to launch our Celebration Books Program — a meaningful tradition to honor students while enriching our school library and supporting our local bookstore.

Celebration Books allow families to commemorate a child’s birthday or special milestone by donating a brand-new book to the Greenacres Library.

Each donated book:

• Becomes part of the permanent library collection

• Includes a personalized bookplate recognizing the student

• Is enjoyed by classmates for years to come

Important Details 

• $20 donation per book

• Families select a title from the library’s curated wish list

• Books are purchased at Bronx River Books and delivered to the Greenacres school library

• Each month’s Celebration Books are displayed and students get first priority to check out their own book

Ordering Information

• Celebration Books may be purchased in advance for any month

• Limit one book per student, per school year

• Orders must be placed by the 14th of the month before the celebration month (i.e. Celebration Book for a February birthday should be ordered by January 14)
