HIP HOP BY INFINITE MOTION STUDIOS (GRADES K-2)

Celebrity dancer/choreographer, Mikey, teaches the fundamentals of dance through break dance, freestyle & fun choreography. This grooving class is a great way to elevate students’ confidence and self expression along with coordination. Mikey brings positive and fun energy to his class as if you were at your favorite concert. His ability to create a safe non judgmental environment is the reason why his class is so popular. His goal is to celebrate each student’s unique dance abilities at the same time encouraging each student to be their authentic self through the culture of Hip-Hop. LITTLE ROBOTICS (GRADES K-2)

Explore the world of computational thinking and problem-solving through computer science. Engage students' curiosity with the logic of coding, fostering excitement for learning. Emphasize the significance of inputs, outputs, weighted averages, and perseverance in rapid redesign, guiding students toward their goals. Learn how to make hot cocoa – and make money by selling it! Experiment with recipes, design flyers, learn how to count, make change and tally your profits. COOKING AROUND THE WORLD (GRADES K-5)
Grab your aprons and wooden spoons and let’s go on a journey. In this class we will explore some of the recipes from other countries. We will prepare Tzatziki Yogurt dip (Greece), Veggie summer rolls (Vietnam), Magdalenas (Spain) and Bannock bread (Canada). Let's make a stop in Morocco and prepare Moroccan orange cake while trying Dutch baby pancakes (Holland), Calzones (Italy), Salsa & chips (Mexico) before landing in the U.S.A. SPORTS AND GAMES (GRADES K-5)
Students will participate in a wide range of P.E. style games and activities as well as modified sport games/tournaments. All sports and games will be developmentally appropriate for elementary aged children. This class explores the intersection of functional design and imaginative art-making through sculpture, painting, and collage techniques. CHESS (GRADES K-5)
For over 2500 years chess has provided a fun learning experience for students of all ages and abilities. The National Scholastic Chess Foundation’s after-school enrichment programs are tailored to accommodate students of different strengths within the same class. With a balance of structured lessons and supervised play, students improve their ability to focus, to create and implement plans, and to adapt their thinking when circumstances change. Along the way, they are introduced to the game’s rich history, they learn to win and lose with grace, and to achieve their goals by persevering through adversity. CLAY ART (GRADES 1-3)
This engaging and hands-on program introduces students to the exciting world of ceramics, where they will learn the fundamental skills needed to create their own clay masterpieces.Throughout the course, students will explore essential hand-building techniques, allowing them to mold and shape clay with confidence. Furthermore, using their surroundings as a muse, students will discover how to draw inspiration from their environment and infuse it into their art. Through a variety of fun and creative projects, students will have the freedom to express their imagination while developing their technical skills. GA LAB MORNING TYPING CLUB! (GRADES 3-5)
Getting up and coming to school early can be fun if you are part of the GA Lab Typing Club! Typing is a skill that will help you in elementary, middle, high school and beyond. As your typing skills improve, you will be able to concentrate more on the meaning of what you are typing and you will finish your work more quickly! You will also develop your Digital Wellness as you create good posture habits while working at the computer. We will use Typing Club (many different lessons), Dance Mat, and KidsType to start! CRAZY CHEMWORKS (GRADES K-2)
Come and spark imaginative learning with some Mad chemistry. Watch as we combine elements and make them fizz, crackle and change color! We’ll delve into molecules and chemical reactions that produce light, gas and even slime. Some of the weekly topics in this session include: Lab Works, Junior Reactors, p.H. ARTSY ALLIGATORS (GRADES K-2)
Our process-oriented art class will introduce our Happy Artists to key mediums including drawing, painting, clay, mixed media, crafting and more. Your child will engage in fun, educational art experiences both in independent and group formats. Cultural moments, current trends, art history and relevant themes (e.g. friendship, kindness, teamwork) will be incorporated into weekly lessons, tying your child’s art experience back to the real world. ALADDIN MINI MUSICAL (GRADES 2-5)
If your child loves to perform, then Artistree’s Aladdin Mini-Musical is the perfect after school offering! Children will audition, be cast and rehearse in a mini version of the iconic Disney musical. Acting and vocal technique, along with choreography, will be taught each week. Complete with costumes and orchestrated tracks, the cast will then perform their show on the last day of clubs. Join us in this confidence-building, leadership training and team-supported class for kids! COOKING BY DESIGN (GRADES K-5)
Every child should learn to crack an egg and have fun doing it. Amy Rosen has been teaching kids and adults how to cook for the past 12 years. Her program is an interactive cooking program for kids. It is all hands on and the kids do the measuring, chopping, mixing, sautéing and baking on a weekly basis. She runs an intense, fun, delicious class. They will make a sweet and a savory dish, which they will bring home to share with their family. They will also take home the recipe for each dish that they make. This class is a fun dance class based on children’s favorite movies! FALL HARVEST: SWEET TREATS (GRADES K-5)
If you love sweets, then this is the class for you! Autumn is the perfect time of year to start baking again as we move away from the Summer heat. We will prepare apple squares, brownie cookies, peaches and cream muffins, and Cool Whip fluffy cookies. As we approach Thanksgiving, we will make pumpkin chip drops, cookie sticks, double chocolate banana bread and choco mallow cups. As always, there will be surprise recipes along the way. ULTIMATE MARTIAL ARTS & SELF DEFENSE PROGRAM (GRADES K-5)

Have your child learn the amazing art of magic! Charles Hallock aka The Great Charlini has been performing and teaching magic for over twenty years. Dive into a world of vibrant colors and squishy fun in our Painting and Slime class! Each week will rotate between a slime class and a creative painting class. FLAG FOOTBALL (GRADES K-5)
Students will participate in a variety of football-based skills/drills as well as play modified flag football games in a fun/safe/supportive setting. PLAY-I: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR KIDS (GRADES 3-5)
Students will explore the potential of AI by creating their own machine-learning models that can perform Image and Sound classification. They will use their machine-learning models in a video game coded in Scratch, MIT’s popular block-based coding language. Along the way, we will play with some fun generative AI tools, learn about present and future uses, and dispel some of the myths surrounding the topic to prepare kids for a future where they can employ this powerful technology.
